Stefano Olgiati DSc, FRSM(UK), PhD, MSc(Hons), ACE(MIT) is European Quantum Senior Vice President and Director of Research.

Stefano is responsible for European Quantum Research. He directs innovation strategies in ML, AI, quantum computing, blockchain, and exploratory science. He heads the research community of European Quantum and is responsible for the company’s intellectual property strategy and business.

Stefano is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine (London, UK) and a Professor of Medical Statistics and Clinical Trials at the University of Ferrara. He received his Ph.D. in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Milano Bicocca, and his post-doctoral qualifications from the Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Previously, he sat in the board of several USD 1 billion plus pharmaceutical and healthcare corporations in USA, UK, Italy, Spain, Luxembourg, Switzerland, France, Japan, HK, and the UAE.

Stefano is a serving member of the Harvard University, Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology Club of Italy communities.
